Metal Injection Molding (M.I.M.) is quite similar
to plastic injection molding. The process can
produce components with complex shapes
and the
finished M.I.M. parts do not require secondary
machining treatment. The components made by MIM
are solid. It is similar to, or even better than,
other parts made by machining or forming. M.I.M.
has become an important new metal manufacturing
process.
Applications include:
•
Electronics
•
Locks
•
Medical Devices
•
